The frames Alicja works with come from skilled craftsmen across Europe, including Italy and Spain, where traditional techniques and refined design meet timeless elegance. The passe-partout provides structure, space, and mood. It offers protection by distancing the artwork from the glass, but it also gently frames the image within the frame, creating a layered sense of depth. Alicja helps you choose between single and double options, selecting textures and tones that subtly support the painting without distracting from it.
With an extensive palette of shades and textures available, the right combination can dramatically influence the mood of a piece. Framing PRICE RANGE
The cost of framing varies depending on the chosen materials and size. Standard frames for smaller artworks, around 30–40 cm, start from approximately €85 for standard frames, while custom-made frames for larger pieces for example 120 × 90 cm ~ featuring museum-quality glass and tripple passe-partout can reach up to €750. Each frame is carefully selected to ensure the best presentation and lasting protection for your artwork.
Frames come in a wide variety of profiles, widths, and heights ~ often finished with handmade coatings crafted in countries such as Italy and Spain. They range from minimalist and chic designs to ornate, baroque-style frames, allowing each artwork to be complemented with just the right character and sophistication.
